Starting February 28th, 2026, all applicant and grantee EHBs users MUST complete a free, one-time identity verification through Login.gov or ID.me to access the EHBs. This process can be completed prior to February 28th, either online or in person.

 

Complete verification using a state-issued Driver’s License, State ID or U.S. Passport Book through Login.gov: https://xms.hhs.gov/ABaaS/sp?ExtIDPEntityID=LoginGovLOA3

 

If you do not have a state-issued ID or U.S. Passport Book or if you are having issues using Login.gov, verify your identity using a U.S. Passport Card or Non-US Passport through ID.me: https://xms.hhs.gov/ABaaS/sp?ExtIDPEntityID=ID.ME.3
